About Me
Throughout the 80s I worked as a session musician, recording with Elton John, REM, Cliff Richard, Joe Jackson, Richard Thompson and many more.
From 1986 I switched to music composition and production, writing music for television as well as being involved in pop music production.
In 1991 I was commissioned to devise and present a saxophone instruction video for Virgin Music. This was part of the Jools Holland Music Makers series and has sold over20,000 copies worldwide - now available as a DVD and currently being translated into Chinese.
From 1996 - 2001 I was the Head of Jazz & Pop performance at the University of Southampton, where I taught the saxophone, and helped design the performance programme. I am now working as a full time composer of music for film and television, however I get so many enquiries about saxophone teachers that I decided to start this directory.
