Professional musician - Saxophone and clarinet, tutor, bandleader, composer and arranger. I have taught at all levels of performance from beginners in Merseyside schools to the more advanced level, classical and jazz musicians in further education. I have had the privilege to have studied with Professor Steven Trier - Saxophone, Peter King (regarded as one of the worlds finest jazz saxophonists) and Leonard Foster - Clarinet (Halle Orchestra).

My musical life has been one of a typical musician really, teaching woodwind, performing at jazz festivals across Europe with my quartet and a host of venues and theatres across the UK. I have had the pleasure of working over the years with Mojo Bufford (Muddy Waters Band), Peter King, Lou Donaldson and Bill Perkins (ex Duke Ellington) to name just a few.
